UNDERGROUND TAGGING & TRACKING SOLUTION

INTRODUCTION

The FavorSea underground tagging and tracking solution is fully integrated with the underground CPS solution.

The solution consists of base station controllers and detectors. Each base station can connect with up to four detectors to improve accuracy. The tracking tag is situated in the FavorSea cap lamps and utilizes the same tag used for the CPS solution.

Detectors are installed every 200m and can be incorporated at intersections to detect any direction of travel. The base stations are hardwired to the network infrastructure to ensure real time uploading of tag positions. Tracking can be done up to 300mm accuracy.

The system’s application can extend to refuge bays to track inspections and entry/exits.

FUNCTIONALITY OVERVIEW

The FavorSea underground tagging and tracking solution functionality includes:

• Tracking of assets underground.
  • This includes tracking of TMM, and other tagged assets.
• Tracking of personnel underground.
  • This could include tracking of lamps/tags for usage cases such as refuge bays, shaft clearance, no-go areas; work area monitoring etc.
• 3D mapping of the underground environment.
  • This could include usage cases for monitoring asset and personnel position and activity for productivity optimisation.
• Digital reporting on collected data above.
• Fully integrated with the underground CPS solution.
